BMT Puliyogare Mix – Easy Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked rice (cooled, separate grains)
- 2–3 tbsp BMT Puliyogare Mix
- 2 tbsp oil (preferably groundnut oil)
- 2 tbsp peanuts
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Few curry leaves
- 1–2 dried red chillies (optional)
- Pinch of turmeric (optional)
- Salt (if needed)
Preparation:
- Cook rice
- Cook and cool the rice completely. Keep it fluffy (not sticky).
- Prepare tempering
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add mustard seeds → let them crackle
- Add peanuts, fry till golden
- Add curry leaves & red chillies
- Mix masala
- Add BMT Puliyogare Mix into the tempering
- Stir on low flame for 1 minute (don’t burn)
- Combine with rice
- Add cooked rice
- Mix gently until rice is fully coated
- Rest & serve
- Let it sit for 5–10 mins for better flavor
- Serve with papad or curd
Tips:
- Add a little extra oil for authentic taste
- For stronger flavor, add 1 tbsp roasted sesame powder
- Adjust quantity of mix based on taste
