BMT Puliyogare Mix – Easy Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 cups cooked rice (cooled, separate grains)
• 2–3 tbsp BMT Puliyogare Mix
• 2 tbsp oil (preferably groundnut oil)
• 2 tbsp peanuts
• 1 tsp mustard seeds
• Few curry leaves
• 1–2 dried red chillies (optional)
• Pinch of turmeric (optional)
• Salt (if needed)

Preparation:

1. Cook rice
   • Cook and cool the rice completely. Keep it fluffy (not sticky).
2. Prepare tempering
   • Heat oil in a pan
   • Add mustard seeds → let them crackle
   • Add peanuts, fry till golden
   • Add curry leaves & red chillies
3. Mix masala
   • Add BMT Puliyogare Mix into the tempering
   • Stir on low flame for 1 minute (don’t burn)
4. Combine with rice
   • Add cooked rice
   • Mix gently until rice is fully coated
5. Rest & serve
   • Let it sit for 5–10 mins for better flavor
   • Serve with papad or curd

Tips:

• Add a little extra oil for authentic taste
• For stronger flavor, add 1 tbsp roasted sesame powder
• Adjust quantity of mix based on taste
